Ronald Linn Bryson
Ronald Linn Bryson, 64, of Eden Prairie, Minn., formerly of Cape Coral, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 21, 2009, after a seven-month battle with small cell lung cancer. He was born April 9, 1944, to William and Nancy (Miles) Bryson of Pittsburgh.
He spent the majority of his life in the optical business in Cape Coral. After the death of his beloved Kate, he moved to Minnesota to be closer to family and found that he embraced the northern climate’s change of seasons.
He loved his backyard, his fishing time, his beloved wiener dogs and his part-time retirement “dream job” of driving a SW Metro Transit bus.
He is survived by his devoted life partner, Kathie Radcliffe; daughter, Laura (Tom) Fahy and granddaughter, Megan, of Blaine, Minn.; daughter, Jenny Bryson and grandson, Ayden, and granddaughter, Lauren, of Fayetteville, Ga.; sons, William Bryson of Fort Myers and Tyler (Noelle) Bryson and granddaughter, Brianna, of Cape Coral; stepdaughter, Katrina Sheldon of Eden Prairie, Minn.; sister, Sharon (Tom) Testa of Alexander, N.C.; and seven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Bryson; mother, Nancy Bryson; and wife, Kate Bryson.
A celebration of his life will be held June 27 at his home in Eden Prairie, Minn. Interment is private.
