Paul Lance
Paul Lance, 92, of Cape Coral, died Sunday, March 22, 2009. He was born Jan. 6, 1917, in Asbury, N.J., to Lewis and Clara Lance.
He was self-employed and the owner of Lance’s Pie Bakery in Washington, N.J. He was also employed and retired from Taylor Wharton in High Bridge, N.J., and Mobile Chemical Company of Washington, N.J.
He moved to Cape Coral in 1988 from Washington, N.J. He was a member of Cape Coral First United Methodist Church and Moose Lodge 2199.
His family includes his wife, Emogene Lance; children, Janet (Carl) Bostrom of Cincinnati, Ohio, Robert (Arlene) Lance of Flanders, N.J., Linda (Walter) Sarwatka of Milford, N.J., Bonnie (Thomas) Gould, Gail (Warren) Holden, Paul Joseph Lance and John Robert (Tammy) Lance, all of Washington, N.J.; brother, Harry (Lois) Lance of Ocala, Fla.; stepchildren, Judith (Thomas) Martindale of Cape Coral and Edward (Dori) Tackett of North Fort Myers; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cape Coral First United Methodist Church.
