Steven N. Bell
Steven N. Bell, of Cape Coral passed away Saturday, March 14, 2009. He was born on June 6, 1967, in Presque Isle, Maine. He was a veteran of Desert Storm serving with U.S. Navy and was awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Unit Commendation, Sea Service Deployment with two Bronze Stars, National Defense service medal, Southwest Asia service medal with three Bronze Stars, Kuwait Liberation Medal and the Good Conduct Award. He was employed as a manager for Applebee’s Restaurant.
He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Cheryl Bell of Cape Coral; children, Zachary Bell, Brianna Bell and Michael Arpa; siblings, Robert Bell Jr., Joseph Thibodeau, Gail Burtt and Vickie Thibodeau; mother, Caroline Thibodeau; dad, Robert Bell and his wife; and his mother and father-in-law, Phil and Barbara Sperry.
Funeral services with military honors will be Friday, March 20, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road, Cape Coral.
Burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Fla.
The family requests memorials be made to the Steven Bell Memorial Fund, c/o SunTrust Bank, 13901 N. Cleveland Ave., North Fort Myers, FL.
