Florence D. Haase
Florence D. Haase of Cape Coral went to join her Heavenly Father on March 2, 2009. Florence was born in Newark, N. J. on March 25, 1919. Her parents were Clarence A. and Ruth A. (nee Kirschler) Hodes. Florence was a military wife and accompanied her husband during some of his World War II state-side duty. During that time she attended Georgia Alabama Business College in Macon, GA.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, All Haase, two daughters Brenda and Dave Zelt of Cape Coral and Kathy and George Ruzak of Mukwanago, WI, five granddaughters and their husbands, Tammy Stobaugh of Kentucky, Dianne Rybicki of Indiana, Michelle Salzman, Amy Warden and Lisa Pollow, all of Wisconsin, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Florence was a member of the Cape Coral First United Methodist Church and the Cape Mates of the Cape Coral Power Squadron.
A memorial service will be held at the Cape Coral First United Methodist Church at 4118 Coronado Pkwy. on March 21 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cape Coral First United Methodist or to the Cape Coral Caring Center located at Ave
