Helen T. Delorme
Helen T. Delorme, 88, of Cape Coral, died Sunday, March 1, 2009. She was born in 1921 in Canada to Arthur and Arzellie Gagne.
She married Lucien in 1940 in Canada and lived in Toronto until she moved to Detroit in 1951. She retired to Cape Coral in 1981. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and was an avid golfer.
Her family includes her husband of 68 years, Lucien of Cape Coral; daughter, Carol (Tom) Washburn of Royal Oak, Mich.; son, Robert (Linda) Delorme of Fort Myers Beach; brother, Aldey Gagne of Sherbrooke, Quebec; grandchildren, Gerald Hautman, Keith Delorme and Kimberly Rheim; six great-grandchildren; and three nieces.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Burial will immediately follow at Royal Palm Cemetery in Punta Gorda.
