Edward D. Newell
Edward D. Newell, 101, of Cape Coral died February 20, 2009 in Cape Coral, Fl. Ed was born in Newellton, LA on July 17, 1907. He married Grace Overholt Newell March 23rd 1935 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Ed lived in Kenohsa, WI for many years where he owned and operated The Edward D. Newell Company. He began winter visits to Cape Coral in 1978 and upon his retirement moved permanently in 1993. Ed was a member of A.S.M.E., S.A.E., E.G.S.A., Kiwanis Club and Toastmasters.
His family includes George O. Newell and wife Susan of Cape Coral, Mike Newell of Burlington, WI, Deborah Roth Newell of Kenosha, WI, Christina, Mark, Michael and Jonathon Romatowski of De Pere, WI, Christy Newell of Marquette, WI, Mitchell Nadler of White Plaines, NY, and Deborah Stuart of Cape Coral.
