Michael Luis Torres
Today we mourn the death of our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend, Michael Luis Torres, 25, of Cape Coral, who passed on to our Lord on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009. He was born Dec. 7, 1983, in New York, to Jocie and Luis Torres.
He enjoyed martial arts, movies, motorcycles, firearms and conversation, and was known for his animated stories and his laugh. His laughter traveled and you could feel the vibrations in your heart. His laugh made you want to laugh.
His life was short lived, but the love he shared with his family and friends will be forever in our hearts. We love you Michael, and we will forever remember your unforgettable laugh. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, uncle, teacher and friend. He lived his life timeless without any restrictions or guidelines.
Survivors include his loving father and stepmother, Luis and Isa Torres; brother and sister-in-law, John and Jessica Torres and their children, Victor and Gabriel; and grandmothers, Josephine Pagan and Norma Torres.
Never forgetting all of his family members that loved him, visitation will be held from noon-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
