Timothy M. Parker

Timothy M. Parker, 49, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at his residence in Cape Coral.

He was a 1978 graduate of Hammond High School in Indiana and attended Purdue University in Indiana. He received an associate’s degree in engineering and was a golf professional at Royal Tee Country Club in Cape Coral for several years. He was an active real estate appraiser for four years. He and his brother, Tom, played in the 1972 Little League World Series and won the U.S. National Championship. He was an accomplished singer, bass guitarist and song writer and enjoyed various sports and outdoor activities.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Parker, in 1975.

Survivors include his mother, Marilyn (Conrad) Heisner of Atwood, Ill.; brothers, Tom Parker of Centerville, Ohio, and David (Cindy) Parker of Highland, Ind.; and niece and nephew, Samantha and Zachary Parker, both of Centerville, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held in Ohio at the convenience of the family. A public memorial service will be held in Cape Coral at a date to be announced.
