Stephen T. Walsh
Stephen T. Walsh, 89, of Cape Coral, formerly of Largo, Fla., died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009.
He had served as chief of police with the New York Police Department, retiring in 1978 after more than 35 years of service.
He leaves his loving children, Peter (Maureen), James (Janet), Stephen, Patricia O’Donohue, Mary (John) Ross, Kathleen (Tony) Catalano, Michael and Veronica (David) Bennett; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Andrew Catholic Church.
