Robert George Ernest Sharpe
Robert G. Sharpe, 92, died peacefully Jan. 11, 2009, in Poulsbo, Wash. He was born and raised in Wisconsin and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He and his beloved wife, Lois, raised four children in Beloit, Wis., where he had a photographic studio until 1973.
After retiring, until 2004, they resided in Cape Coral where they both enjoyed raising tropical fruits and sailing. Mr. Sharpe was an avid sailor, gardener, designer and woodworker. He enjoyed life and other people immensely.
He is survived by Lois; daughter Barbara of Port Townsend; sons (Randy) Morgan of Madison, Wis., Craig of Helena, Mont., and Jon of Sacramento, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
