Elizabeth Ream
Elizabeth Ream, 95, of Cape Coral, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009.
She was married for 40 years to Russell Alkire Sr., who died in 1972. In 1974, she married William Ream, who died in 1981.
She also was preceded in death by her grandson, Ross Alkire, and daughter-in-law, Betty Alkire.
She is survived by her children, Russell (Marjorie) of Johnstown, Pa., Ronald (Joan) of Williamsport, Pa., Gerald (Mildred) of Winter Springs, Fla., and Cindy (Robert) Sakmar of Overland Park, Kan.; grandchildren, Tralee (Remington) Cussen of Germany, Russell (Diana) Alkire of Montana, Mark Alkire of New York, Shannon (Philip) Gingerich of Pennsylvania, Ronald (Beth) Alkire II of New York, Ryan (Patty) Alkire of Florida and Robert (Carla) Sakmar Jr. of Kansas; great-grandchildren, Alaina Cussen, Devon Cussen, Aubree (Brett) Cummings, Brittni Howard, Sheena Brake, Tiffany Brake, Heidi Gingerich, Kelli Gingerich, Sean Gingerich, Steven Gingerich, Meghan Alkire, Nicholas Alkire, Miranda Alkire, Madeline Alkire, Stone Sakmar and Courtney Sakmar; and great-great-grandchildren, Tanner, Colin, Hudson and Aramis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be held in Johnstown, Pa.
