Robert ‘Bob’ Ray Worley
Robert “Bob” Ray Worley, 89, of Fort Myers, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Lee Memorial Hospital. He was born in Mexico, Mo.
He lived in Columbia, Mo., prior to coming to Cape Coral in 1967. While in Columbia, he was owner and operator of a private grocery store. After moving to Cape Coral, he worked as a real estate agent for John Mitchell Reality for almost 20 years.
He and Nadine had been married for more than 69 years.
He is survived by his wife, Nadine Worley of Fort Myers; son, Michael Worley of Indialantic, Fla.; daughters, Judy Veilleux of Athens, Greece, and Patricia Worley of Albany, N.Y.; twelve grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra McPheeters, as well as his brother, Marion.
Services were held Monday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Entombment followed.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society for the research of breast cancer.
