Sally A. Raeon
Sally A. Raeon, 83, of Cape Coral/Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at Evans Health Care in Fort Myers, where she was a resident since March 2005 in the care of Hope Hospice. She was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Pittsburgh, the fifth child of Charles and Mary Thompson.
She grew up in Bradford, Pa. After marriage she lived in Jamestown, N.Y., until moving to Florida in 1972 where she was a loving housewife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Floyd F. Raeon of Fort Myers; daughters, Darlene Johnson of Orange City, Fla., Kathy (Rich) Saullo of Jamestown, N.Y., and Mary Francis (Robert) Cutaia of Fort Myers; grandchildren, Todd (Tammie) Johnson of Orange City, Fla., Stephanie, Richard and Cory Saullo of Jamestown, N.Y., and Renee and Annette Cutaia of Fort Myers; stepgrandchildren, Lisa (Mark) Hallberg of Jamestown, N.Y., and Lori (Todd) Brandes of Fort Knox, Ky.; great-grandchild, Olivia Johnson of Orange City, Fla.; and sister, Betty Schoonover of Gilford, N.H.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marilyn; twin brothers, Chuck and Jim; and son-in-law, Robert Johnson.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
