Peter P. Sbarra
Peter B. Sbarra, 76, of Cape Coral, passed away Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008. He was born Dec. 25, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of John and Marie Sbarra, now deceased.
After retirement from the New York City Police Department, he became a longtime resident of Cape Coral for the past 32 years.
His life so blessed and a heart so deeply loved. He will be sadly missed by all who love him as father, grandfather and most of all a true friend.
He is survived by his children, Vicki (Doug) Santini, Peter Sbarra, Linda (Larry) Pidkameny and Michael (Tina) Sbarra; grandchildren, Thomas and Adrienne Patton, Sean and Tabitha Pidkameny, Shane Manson, Noel, Nicholas, Nathaniel, Meghan and Tyler Sbarra; and great-grandchildren, Kyle and Logan Patton.
A funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at St. Katharine Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 12:15-2:15 p.m. Friday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
