Lillian (Aunt Lil) Haselden
Lillian Haselden, 81, born June 11, 1927, in New York City, N.Y., passed away Nov. 19, 2008, in Cape Coral.
“Aunt Lil” moved to Miami Beach in 1954 met and was married 30 years to Norman L Haselden until his passing in 1994.
While in New York and Miami, she dedicated her life to care giving as a nursing assistant. She retired in 1995 after nearly 25 years of service at the Veteran’s Hospital in Miami.
She is survived by her loving sister, Frances and brother-in-law Joseph; brother, Gus; and nieces, Yvonne and Angela, who cared for her the past 10 years, and will miss her greatly; Evelyn, whom she raised as a child and loved; and her children and grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at Miami Memorial Park, Miami, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m.
