Elizabeth A. Romanowski
Elizabeth A. Romanowski, 79, of Cape Coral formerly of East Northport, Long Island, N.Y., died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008. She was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Wielerbach, Germany, to Karl and Katharine (nee; Jung) Mischler, now deceased.
Coming to Cape Coral in 1979 from East Northport, Long Island, N.Y., she was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William S.; children, Linda (John) Bivona, William C. (Mary Ellen) Romanowski and Gary (Alicia) Romanowski; son-in-law, Steve Brown; grandchildren, Lori Jean, John, Heather and Debra; and two great-grandchildren.
She has preceeded in death by her daughter, Christine Brown, her parents and brother, Karl Mischler.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Cape Coral, with entombment to follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, Lehigh Acres.
The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 17, from 2-4 p.m., at Fuller Cape Coral Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., South.
