Cape police investigating armed robbery
Public’s help sought to identify suspect in convenience store theft
The Cape Coral Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying this suspect involved in an armed robbery early this morning.
Just after midnight today, Jan. 12, officers were called to 1540 Andalusia Blvd., Cape Coral. Call notes indicated a store clerk was robbed after a suspect displayed a firearm.
The clerk told officers a white man in a grey long-sleeved shirt with a big hat pulled out a firearm and displayed it to her, then told her “don’t try to be a hero.” The clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled.
The CCPD released three photos of the robbery suspect (attached).
