The city of Cape Coral is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Charter Review Commission.

This committee reviews the city charter and recommends potential amendments.

The commission consists of seven regular members and two alternate members. Applicants must be United States citizens and residents of Cape Coral. All applications must be submitted by Friday, March 7, at 4:30 p.m.

The city charter serves as the legal framework for Cape Coral’s government, outlining the roles and responsibilities of the city council and city manager, as well as procedures for filling Council vacancies.
