The Florida Department of Transportation, District One, has issued a notification to the public of the upcoming nighttime/overnight lane closures on CR 78 (Pine Island Road). The eastbound and westbound lanes from Sandoval Parkway to Royal Tee Boulevard in Cape Coral will experience lane closures and slow-moving traffic starting today, Sept. 6, until Friday, Dec. 13. Lane closures will occur between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Crews will be performing work along the roadway.

Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.
