CRA to vote on budget Wednesday

The Cape Coral Community Redevelopment Agency board will vote on the 2025-2029 fiscal year proposed budget Wednesday, which is an increase of more than $58,000 from the prior year.

The CRA proposed 2025 budget is $6,199,515, compared to 2024 of $6,140,879.

The proposed projects for 2025 include South Cape retrofit type F curbing for $63,863, CRA streetlight retrofitting for $172,561 and land demolition services for $273,329.

The existing capital project budget includes Club Square water line, Country Club medians, Landscape and beautification, property acquisition, South Parking Lot (Big Johns), Vincennes Boulevard parking lot and Miramar sidewalks.

The projected fiscal year budget for 2027 is $7,426,282.

Other agenda items include an introduction of the CRA Project Manager Zachary Gogel, whose responsibility is running multiple capital projects for the CRA as well as the CRA project report.

The Wednesday, July 31 meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in City Council Chambers, 1015 Cultural Park Pkwy. The meeting is open to the public.
