Celebration of Life for Cape Coral city attorney to be held June 10

A celebration of life for Cape Coral City Attorney Dolores Menendez will be held Saturday, June 10, at the Westin, 5951 Silver King Boulevard.

The ceremony is open to the public and will be held in the Tarpon Ballroom from 3-5 p.m.

Menendez worked for the City of Cape Coral for 32 years and died on May 18, 2023, at 67. Menendez was known for her thoughtful approach to key issues in Cape Coral’s government and served the City with dignity and respect.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cape Coral Animal Shelter and Veterinary Clinic or Gulf Coast Humane Society.
