Lee Tran Service To The Beach
LeeTran’s beach park and ride is currently not available for parking. Please utilize the FastTrax (formerly Zoomers) parking lot located on Summerlin until further notice. We will be routing buses from FastTrax to Bowditch to Bay Beach Ln. By utilizing the bus you can bypass all the traffic.
Free Veterinary Services
University of Florida Veterinarians is offering free veterinary services. The daily service will run 9am-5pm daily from Terry Park, 3410 Palm Beach Blvd. Fort Myers until further notice.
Second SBA Business Recovery Center Opens
A second Business Recovery Center has been opened at the Kiwanis Club of Cape Coral at 360 Santa Barbara Blvd. S., Cape Coral, FL 33991. Hours are 10am to 4pm
The BRC’s will provide assistance with the following programs:
• SBA Physical Disaster Loan
• SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)
• Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program
FEMA Transitional Sheltering Program
The state of Florida and FEMA have activated the Transitional Sheltering Assistance (TSA) program for Hurricane Ian survivors in Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Flagler, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lake, Lee, Manatee, Orange, Osceola, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Johns and Volusia counties.
Survivors from these counties who have applied for disaster assistance may be eligible to shelter in a hotel or motel paid for by FEMA. They may be eligible for TSA if they cannot return to their home and their housing needs cannot be met by insurance, shelters or rental assistance provided by FEMA or another agency (federal, state or nonprofit).
