All Lee County Tax Collector offices to reopen starting Tuesday
Starting Tuesday, Oct. 11, all Lee County Tax Collector offices (Cape Coral, North, South, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs and downtown Fort Myers) will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
These hours will continue from Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 14. Normal business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) will resume on Monday, Oct. 17.
Customers who have an appointment on or after Oct. 11 should come in at their scheduled time. Walk-ins are welcome.
The Tax Collector’s goal is same-day assistance for anyone who comes into an office, but there may be cases where customers are asked to make an appointment on a later date. This is to ensure that staff can help those who need replacement documents to file for FEMA assistance, insurance claims or to obtain aid due to hardships suffered from Hurricane Ian.
“I am so grateful to the crews that restored power to our offices, as well as our team members who wanted to get back to work to help the community as quickly as possible,” shared Noelle Branning, Lee County Tax Collector. “We know that our services are vital, and we will do everything we can to help Lee County get back on its feet.”
