Post-Hurricane Ian – Event updates, cancellations across SWFL

The following events have been rescheduled or canceled due to Hurricane Ian.

POSTPONED EVENTS

Oct. 12: Horizon Foundation: The President’s Circle event originally scheduled for Oct. 12 has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.

Oct. 13: Community Cooperative: The Becoming Cosmopolitan – Gone Country event originally scheduled for Oct. 13 has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.

Oct. 14: Wonder Gardens: Brews for the Birds, originally scheduled for Oct. 14, has been rescheduled to Dec. 9.

Oct. 22-23: Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s RedSnook Catch and Release Charity Fishing Tournament on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23 is postponed until Dec. 3 and 4. The kickoff party planned Oct. 21 at 5:30 p.m. at Florida Sports Park will still be held.

Oct. 27: Industry Appreciation Awards: Industry Appreciation Awards 2022 originally scheduled for Oct. 27 has been postponed to January. The new date will be announced soon.

CANCELED EVENTS

Oct. 11: Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce: The Leadership NEXT event originally scheduled for Oct. 11 has been canceled. There will be no Chamber events for the rest of October.

Oct. 19: Child Care of Southwest Florida: Donor Friend-Raiser – The donor friend-raiser originally scheduled for Oct. 19 is now canceled.

Nov. 12-19: Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife: The Taste of the Islands event, originally scheduled for Nov. 12-19, is now canceled.
