Red Sox/JetBlue Park October events cancelled due to Hurricane Ian
All events previously announced for JetBlue Park at Fenway South, home of the Boston Red Sox Spring Training, have been cancelled.
These events include the La Mesa RV Showcase, the 12th Annual Walk For Wishes Southwest Florida 5K, the Hotwork Estero Fine Art Show and the Red Sox Foundation 11th annual Swings for the Sox golf tournament.
According the Red Sox, because JetBlue Park has power, Wi-Fi and cellular signals they are using this time to assist first responders with staging areas. Agencies that have set up shop at the stadium include Comcast, the National Guard, out of town emergency response teams, fuel trucks and more.
