A hygiene station for Cape Coral residents is open at Jim Jeffers Park, located at 2817 S.W. 3rd Lane, and is available daily from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. The hygiene station includes showers, bathrooms, a cooling area, charging stations and laundry services. Residents looking to take advantage of this resource need to bring their own shower supplies; toiletries and towels are not provided.

Two additional POD (Points of Distribution) sites also opened today. These will be at 1020 Cultural Park Blvd. (across the street from City Hall) and Coral Oaks Golf Course (1800 N.W. 28th Ave.). Operations continue at the Cape Coral Sports Complex (1410 Sports Blvd.) and Leonard Street (4820 Leonard St.) locations.

All PODs are open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily for residents in need of food and water.
