Republican candidates for Lee County School Districts 1 and 5 have been invited to participate in the legislative forum of the Fort Myers Republican Wo-men’s Club at the Tuesday, Aug. 16, luncheon meeting The luncheon is held in the Helm Club at The Landings, South Fort Myers.

The public is invited to attend the luncheon and the forum. A social hour begins at 11:15 a.m. The noon lunch will be followed by the candidate forum. A question-and-answer session follows the formal presentations.

The primary election is on Aug. 23. Final candidates for the various offices will be determined by that vote. The general election is Nov. 8.
