SWFL SpaceCon returning to downtown Fort Myers on June 11

SWFL SpaceCon, a celebration of all aspects of comic book and science-fiction culture with a common thread uniting all fans, is returning to downtown Fort Myers.

On Saturday, June 11, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Luminary Hotel’s Caloosa Sound Convention Center will be the ultimate destination to bring together fandom and celebrities from the world of comics, sci-fi, anime, gaming and costly for an action-packed day.

SWFL SpaceCon creates a nexus for fans, exhibitors, artists and stars alike to come together under one roof. This year’s event features Chase Masterson (“Star Trek,” “The Flash,” “Pandora”), Ryan Bartley (“Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale,” “Beyblade Burst Surge,” “Demon Slayer”) and Tracee Cocco (“Star Trek,” “Baywatch,” “General Hospital”), plus comic book industry guests: Darren Auck (Marvel, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko’s Modern Life) Tim Townshed (Marvel Comics, X-Men, Spider-Man) and Victor Gischler (Deadpool, Punisher Max, X-Men) and professional cosplay guests! SWFL SpaceCon will also feature vendors, game demos, drop-in gaming, game tournaments, photo ops, autograph ops, panels, costume contests and non-stop entertainment.

General admission is $15 at the door; $12 for those in costume at the door; $12 in advance. Kids under 12, one free child admission per paying parent, $5 for each additional child.

The Luminary Hotel’s Caloosa Sound Convention Center is located at 1375 Monroe St., Fort Myers.
