Sun Splash offering free admission for active and retired military, veterans on Memorial Day
In honor of Memorial Day, active and retired military and veterans will receive one free admission on Monday, May 30, at Sun Splash Family Waterpark with valid military ID.
“As a thank you to all of the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country in the armed forces, we are honored to provide military members free admission on May 30th,” stated Sun Splash General Manager Eric Reed. “Sun Splash is a fun place that their families can make lasting memories together at.”
Sun Splash will be kicking off the first official weekend of summer with Hawaiian themed entertainment with hula dancers and a fire dancer on Saturday, May 28, from 4-6 p.m.
In addition, guests can enjoy extended park hours Memorial Weekend from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The park will go to daily summer hours on May 28 with new extended hours of operation through Aug. 8. Sun Splash has introduced other new enhancements including free parking, more cabanas, new food and drink items, an activities director, special events and new season pass member benefits including early entry, discounts on food and cabanas, plus one bring a friend free ticket valid for a one-time visit this season.
