A Blue Mass for emergency responders will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church at 9 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 25.

The Blue Mass is to honor those who have died in the line of duty as well as those currently serving as first responders. It also is an opportunity for the community to show gratitude to first responders and their families, organizers said.

You need not be Catholic to attend the mass. Everyone is welcome.
