Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife, city to participate in Annual International Coastal Clean-up next Saturday

The Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife and the city of Cape Coral will be joining Keep Lee County Beautiful in its Annual Inter-national Coastal Clean-up Saturday, Sept. 18, from 8-11 a.m. The Coastal Clean-up is the world’s largest, single day volunteer effort to clean up the marine environment.

This is the 32nd year that Keep Lee County Beautiful has hosted this event in Lee County. Pre-registration is required at www.signupgenius.com/go/805094 aaaaa2ca4f49-2021

Participants can sign-in and pick up their water, trash bags, gloves and T-shirt at one of the following Cape Coral locations: Sirenia Vista Park, 3916 Ceitus Parkway; Four Mile Cove Eco Preserve, 2500 S.E. 24th St.; Cape Coral Yacht Club, 5819 Driftwood Parkway; or Jaycee Park, 4125 S.E. 20th Place. Then, head over to one of the many waterways in our city and start picking!
