Hope Healthcare hosted a Hope VALOR National Vietnam War Veterans Day Commemoration ceremony for veterans, spouses and families at its Cape Coral Care Center on March 29.

Those taking part included the Mariner High School Junior ROTC Color Guard. The ceremony was led by Maj. Gen. James L. Dozier, a West Point graduate who retired after 35 years of military service with a Silver Star for heroism and a purple heart for combat wounds in Vietnam, and Lt. Colonel Gary Bryant, who led and commanded Army aviation units around the world during 20 years of active military duty including serving on General H. Norman Schwarzkopf’s staff in Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield.
