Shortly after 4 p.m., the Cape Coral Police Department reported it is on scene of a traffic crash with injuries at the 1700 block of Cape Coral Parkway in front of the Ford’s Garage restaurant. Westbound traffic is restricted and combined with evening rush hour is hampering traffic flow.

Drivers are asked to please avoid this area and seek an alternate route for the next 1-2 hours.
