Winter weather impacting the central and eastern regions of the U.S. has caused shipping delays for first dose COVID-19 vaccines in Lee County, officials said Tuesday.

First doses appointments scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 17, are rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25, at the same time.

People in Lee County who have an appointment this week to get their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will still be able to get their shot,” officials said, adding if, for some reason, you need to cancel your first dose appointment, please email Lee-PIO@flhealth.gov
