CCFW to meet Tuesday via Zoom
Join the Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 7 p.m. via Zoom when Adam Pottruck, the founder of Adams Animal Encounters, speaks about his lifelong quest to save wildlife.
Pottruck and his wife Loran have provided better lives for hundreds of animal species through rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing. He has also enriched the lives of many people through educational programs where he introduces children and adults to wildlife such as alligators, snakes, lizards and turtles.
Pottruck graduated from Florida Gulf Coast Univer-sity with a bachelor in environmental studies. He was the educational director as well as wildlife director for Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium, and taught biology, environmental science, marine science and environmental management at the high school level.
