Cultural Park cancels all performances of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’
Cultural Park Theater has canceled all performances of “The Importance of Being Earnest” have been canceled” due to possible exposure to covid.”
“The shows from Nov. 12 through 22 are canceled due to the fact that one of the production members in the show is believed to have possibly contracted the Novel Corona Virus,” a post on the theater’s Facebook page states.
“For the past nine months of the pandemic, Cultural Park Theater has successfully created a safe haven for actors, directors, technical staff and patrons to enjoy live entertainment without incident.
“Social distancing, face masks, hand sanitizer, temperature checks have all been a part of our protocol. We take COVID-19 very seriously and there have been no reported cases among patrons or crew.
“As the potential contact was limited and outside of the theater and the continued sanitation of the building is complete, all other auditions and rehearsals will continue under the theaters safety precautions as scheduled,” the post concludes.
