FMPD seeks public’s help locating vehicle involved in hit and run

The Fort Myers Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident on Ballard Road, at approximately 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 17. The accident occurred near Lura Street and injured a pedestrian. The FMPD said the vehicle was described as a blue Dodge caravan or Chrysler Voyager, early 2000 model year with Florida plates, and damage to the front passenger side. The vehicle fled westbound on Ballard Road and made a left turn onto southbound Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard.
