Local post offices could face closing
The U.S. Postal Service is considering closing about 3,200 branch offices across the nation – nearly 10 percent of its total branches – in an effort to cut costs.
One Fort Myers branch is under review for closing – the Miracle Mile location at 3954 Broadway, near the Edison Mall.
Three branches in Naples and two in Charlotte County are also being considered for closing.
