Cape Coral Civic Association begins its 47th year
As Civic begins its 47th year a new Civic President and Board of Directors will be sworn in by Mayor Jim Burch at the Jan. 27 General meeting. The new officers and trustees will serve the organization for 2009-2010. They include:
President -Treva Devers,
Vice President – Tony Farina
Secretary – Kathy Burgess
Treasurer- Rillie Hickey
Ex Officio-Ralph LePera
Trustees:
Walter Fluegel
Jane Longo
Frank Perry
Ricky Pistone
Nick Tomacelli
Art Vitale.
Mayor Burch also will be the keynote speaker for the meeting. Civic is sure the mayor will have plenty to talk about seeing that he has just returned from attending the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington, DC during the inauguration of President Obama.
Civic meetings are held at the Cape Coral Yacht Club on the fourth Tuesday of the month the from 7-9 p.m. Civic meetings are provided free of charge and are open to the general public.
