Homeless man rides bike into deputy’s cruiser
BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) – A homeless man was injured and faces possible DUI charges after reportedly riding his bicycle into a Manatee County deputy’s vehicle.
The sheriff’s office reports that 48-year-old Bradley Littlewood was riding his bike on a Bradenton street Saturday when he crashed into the front of the patrol car. The deputy says Littlewood was attempting to cross all lanes of traffic without using the crosswalk.
Littlewood was taken to a nearby hospital with an injured leg.
The patrol car sustained minor damage, and the deputy was not injured.
