Teen stabbed at amphitheater, 2 others injured
DAYTONA BEACH, (AP) – Three men have been arrested in a fatal stabbing of a Daytona Beach teen at an amphitheater.
Police said the early Sunday attack stemmed from text messages an old boyfriend sent to his ex-girlfriend, upsetting the new boyfriend.
They all agreed to meet at the band shell to settle matters. During an altercation, police say 23-year-old Raymond North stabbed three people. He was charged with first-degree murder. Twenty year-olds Carl Bech and Dallas Mobbs were charged as accessories.
Police identified the teen as 16-year-old Robin Munsch, who was stabbed once in the chest and died from her injuries. Two others, 22-year-old Desiree Juras and 18-year-old Jordan Hess, were also injured. Their injuries were not life-threatening.
More arrests are possible.
