2nd man arrested in USF gunman threat
TAMPA (AP) – A second man has been arrested for making a false report in connection with a gunman threat at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Authorities say Markenson Innocent, a USF graduate, called 911 on Monday and stated that there was a person with a gun and a bomb at the campus library.
Police responded in force and students were told to stay inside for nearly three hours.
Another man, Vincent Thomas-Perry McCoy, has also been charged with making a false threat. Police say he stood up on a campus bus and claimed to have a bomb.
