ORLANDO (AP) – Huge crowds turned up at the Holy Land Experience to take advantage of one day of free admission that is required for the Christian-themed park to maintain its tax-exempt status.

The crowds turned nearby Interstate 4 into a holy mess Tuesday morning.

Security guards at Holy Land shut the gates to the park at 10 a.m., the time it officially opened because the park had already reached its 1,700-person capacity.
