OSHA investigates accident at park

ORLANDO (AP) – The federal agency which investigates job safety has opened an investigation into an accident that left a worker injured at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure theme park.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration opened the probe Tuesday after receiving a referral.

The accident happened July 1 before the park opened to visitors. An unidentified worker was hit by a moving vehicle on the Dueling Dragons roller coaster and was hospitalized with serious injuries.
