Man’s remains found
MIAMI (AP) – Authorities are investigating whether several bags of human remains and bloody clothes scattered throughout two counties may be related.
Miami police say a bicyclist spotted the remains of 21-year-old Osben Laparra floating in a bag in Biscayne Bay on Wednesday. Divers searched the area for several hours and later found a second bag.
A police spokesman says investigators believe the remains are related to a homicide. Police wouldn’t say what body parts were found, but a medical examiner determined they were from a human.
