School police officer facing charges

WEST PALM BEACH (AP) – Authorities believe a Palm Beach County school district police officer used district computers to steal the identities of students and teachers.

Jonathan E. Kelly is facing several charges, including 10 counts of identity theft. He has been released on bond.

According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s report, investigators believe Kelly used the stolen identities to set up credit card and eBay accounts. They suspect he stole checks to obtain routing numbers.
