MIAMI (AP) – Authorities are looking for whoever stole more than 71,000 pounds of lobster tails from a Miami seafood business.

The Miami-Dade Police Department reports that unknown thieves entered the freezer area of Carlos Seafood Saturday morning and removed the frozen food, which is valued at more than $1 million.

Police say two females visited a Hialeah seafood restaurant on Monday trying to sell the stolen lobsters tails, but the owner realized the food was stolen and did not buy any.

The restaurant owner turned surveillance video of the two women over to authorities.
