Rash of robberies at 7-Eleven stores
OAKLAND PARK (AP) – The Broward Sheriff’s Office says 28 convenience stores have been robbed by the same man.
The latest heist was early Thursday at a 7-Eleven in Oakland Park. All the convenience stores that have been robbed – including 17 7-Elevens – are in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
No one has been injured in the robberies that began in November.
Lt. Bill Wesolowski says all surveillance video points to “one individual doing the same crime.” The videos show a man wearing saggy pants and a green mask.
