Third man arrested in assault of elderly
PORT RICHEY (AP) – Authorities have charged a third person in the assault and rape of an 89-year-old woman at her Tampa Bay-area home.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Johnathan Rodriguez was arrested Monday for attempted first degree murder and sexual battery. He is the older brother of 14-year-old Luis Reyes Jr., who was arrested last week for the same crime along with 15-year-old Carlos Fernandez.
