Two guns, ammo found at school
JACKSONVILLE (AP) – Authorities say school officials found two guns and ammunition in a locker at a Jacksonville high school.
A police report says the guns were found Wednesday after Ribault High School administrators walking down a hallway spotted a bullet lying on the floor by a locker. An assistant principal used a key to open the locker, searched a bookbag and found a gun inside. A police officer called to the school searched the rest of the locker and found another bookbag that held a second handgun and 42 bullets.
Two students, ages 14 and 15, were charged with possession of a firearm on school property.
